We use water fed tools and water softening technology to ensure you are getting the best streak free clean, that stays cleaner for longer.
Our water deionising systems harness technologies that use a specifically developed ion-exchange resign to trigger a chemical process called electro-deionisation.
This is where the mains water runs through a resign filled tank and charged particles exchange dissolved metals and minerals such as sodium, calcium, iron, copper, chloride, and sulphate, for hydrogen and hydroxyl ions, which then re-combine to form pure water
Solar panel inspections
Every solar panel cleaned by Solar Shine Australia goes through an eight-point inspection to determine if there are any faults, failures, and/or hazards.
Our trained and experienced team check for the following common issues.
Cracked or shattered glass, cracks or UV damage to the EVA backsheet, faults in edge seals, and discolouration on the cells and/or busbars.
All of the above mentioned issues are caused by, or lead to moisture inside the panels which poses a number of risks from loss in power output, to fire hazard.
Hotspots or hot cells are burn marks on the busbars and fingers within a cell. This issue is often caused by broken joins, or poor soldering during the manufacturing process.
These defects can lead to heating up and shattering the protective glass, or fire hazard, especially if there is a build-up of dry material such as birds nests, leaves/foliage, etc.
Micro cracks are hairline cracks in the silicone of the solar cell, under the glass, that increase in size over time as heat reacts with them.
Solar panels are actually quite fragile which means these cracks can occur during manufacturing, transport, installation, or naturally during hailstorms.
Microcracks become more visible over time and can eventually lead to hotspots, they will definitely compromise power output and the lifetime of the panel.
We also check that brackets and frames are in the correct position and not damaged, and that cable management is in reasonable order and safe.
